Species | Mus musculus |
Strain name | B6.129S2-Nms<tm1Mko> |
Former Common name | NMS-KO |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | D3 [129S2/SvPas] |
Background strain | C57BL/6JJcl |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Masayasu Kojima, Institute of Life Science, Kurume University in 2000. D3 ES cells were used to generate the mutant mice. The mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6. |
Strain description | Nms (Neuromedin S) gene knock-out mice. Exon 8 of the Nms gene was replaced with a neo cassette. Homozygous mutant mice show no obvious abnormality. Nmu gene knockout mice (RBRC04549), Nmu and Nms double knockout mice (RBRC04737). |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote × wild-type [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJcl] |
