Strain developmentDeveloped by Takeshi Yagi, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University in 2009. TT2 ES cells were used.
Strain descriptionPcdhg knockout mice. The gHS1-5 genomic region of the Pcdhg gene was deleted. Diap1 gene was also deleted. About 30% homozygous mutant mice die within 3 days after birth.
