Strain developmentDeveloped by Koji Ikegami and Mitsutoshi Setou, Mitsubishi Kagaku Institute of Life Sciences. C57BL/6N derived ES cells (RENKA) were used. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6N.
Strain descriptionTtll11 (TL11) gene knockout mice. Exon 4 was replaced with neo cassette. Initiation codon is in exon 1, therefore exons 1 to 4 were transcribed and translated. Exon 4 codes most of TTL domain (70%). TTL was disrupted by homologous recombination. Expression : Not examined.
