Strain developmentDeveloped by Koji Ikegami and Mitsutoshi Setou, Mitsubishi Kagaku Institute of Life Sciences. 129 derived ES cells were used. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6J.
Strain descriptionTtll6 (TL6) gene knockout mice. Exons 2 to 4 were replaced with a neo cassette. A region including an initiation site of TTL domain was removed. Initiation codon is in exon 1. Homozygous mutant mice show no obvious abnormality. Expression pattern : Not examined.
