H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | E14 [129P2/OlaHsd] |
Background strain | |
Appearance | black [a/a B/B C/C] |
Strain development | Developed by Drs. Y. Kobayashi, K. Ikeda and N. Motoyama in National Institute for Longevity Sicences at 2000. |
Strain description | Poll, polymerase (DNA directed), lambda gene knock out mice. Homozygous mutant mice show hydrocephalus and a high rate of mortality after birth. The surviving males are sterile due to spermatozoal immobility. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote x Wild-type (C57BL/6JJcl) |
