| Type | Targeted Mutation |
| Species | Mus musculus |
| Strain name | B6.129P2-Gt(ROSA)26Sor<tm1(NLS-lacZ)Ito> |
| Former Common name | ROSA nls LacZ |
| H-2 Haplotype | |
| ES Cell line | E14 [129P2/OlaHsd] |
| Background strain | |
| Appearance | |
| Strain development | Developed by Shigeyoshi Itohara, Brain Science Institute, RIKEN. E14 ES cells derived from 129P2/OlaHsd were used. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J. |
| Strain description | PGK-neo cassette flanked by loxP sites and NLS-lacZ were inserted into the Gt(ROSA)26Sor locus. The NLS-lacZ expression can be generated by crossing with tissue-specific Cre mice. The expression is localized within cell nucleus. Homozygous mutant mice show no obvious abnormality. |
| Colony maintenance | Homozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJcl] |
