H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineJ1 [129S4/SvJae]
Background strain
Appearanceblack [a/a B/B C/C]
Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Toshimitsu Matsui, Kobe University in 2002.
Strain descriptionB6.129S4-Ephb6<tm1Tom>. EphB6, Eph receptor B6, is a member of the largest family of receptor protein kinases. Homozygous mutant mice developed normally and fertile, but T cell responses in them were compromised. This strain is useful for elucidating the EphB6 gene function.
Colony maintenanceSibling Mating (Homozygote x Homozygote)
