Former Common nameB6-Clgn KO
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Masato Ikawa, Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, Osaka University in 1995. D3 ES cells derived from 129S2/SvPas were used. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6.
Strain descriptionClgn, calmegin gene knockout mice. A neomycin selection cassette was inserted into the exon 2 of the Clgn gene. Homozygous mutant males were infertile.
Colony maintenanceHeterozygote X Wild-type [C57BL/6NCrSlc]
