Strain description | ICAT, Inhibitor of beta-catenin and Tcell factor is an 81 amino acid protein that interferes with the interaction between beta-catenin and TCF. The ICAT gene ubiquitously expressed in embryo, and brain, heart, liver and skeletal muscle in adult of mouse. ICAT homozygous mutant mice show malformation of the forebrain and craniofacial bones and lack kidney, and dead within 1 day after birth. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote x C57BL/6 [C57BL/6NJcl] |
