Strain descriptionThis transgenic mouse strain expresses the human IL2RA gene under the control of mouse GluR promoter. The IL2RA mRNA was highly expressed in Golgi cells of the cerebellum, granule cells of the main and accessory olfactory bulbs, the pontine nuclei, and neuronal cells of the cerebellum cortex. Homozygous and hemizygous mutant mice are viable and fertile.
