| Strain development | Four congenic strains of the Hr gene have been generated using Hos:HR-1 mice as the donor strain by successive backcrossing to C57BL/6JJcl (RBRC01223), BALB/cAnNMs (RBRC01417), C3H/HeNCrlj (RBRC01418) and MSM/MsRbrc (RBRC01222) strains as recipients at Experimental Animal Division, RIKEN BioResource Center (BRC). The deposition of the four congenic strains to RIKEN BRC has been acknowledged by HOSHINO LABORATORY ANIMALS, CORP. (Masayuki Hoshino, President). |
