Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Yumiko Saga (2002). The transgene fragment was injected into the pronucleous of B6C3F1 fertilized eggs. This strain were maintained under ICR background.
Strain descriptionDll1, delta-like 1 (Drosophila) is one of Notch ligands. This transgenic mouse expresses the Dll1 gene after mating with a cre transgenic mouse. This strain is useful for elucidation of the Notch-signalling mechanism underlying initial segmentation in the presomitic mesoderm.
