Strain description | The Clk1 gene, also known as Coq7 is essential for coenzyme Q (ubiquinone, CoQ) synthesis, maintenance of mitochondrial integrity, and neurogenesis in mice. Homozygous mutant mice exhibit developmental arrest and die at E10.5. This mutant strain is useful for the study of Clk1 gene function. |
