Strain descriptionThe NJL inbred strain was derived from Mus musculus musculus mice trapped in Northern Jutland, Denmark in 1980 and maintained by National Institute of Genetics. Mice were deposited to the RIKEN Tsukuba Institute from Dr. Toshihiko Shiroishi. NJL produces sterile F1 males with some laboratory strains.
Colony maintenanceSibling mating
