Species | Mus musculus |
Strain name | B6.Cg-Trp53<tm1Sia> Tg(gpt delta)1Nmi/Rbrc |
Former Common name | C57BL/6-TgH(p53)-TgN(gpt delta), C57BL/6-p53 <tm1Sia>-Tg(gpt Delta) |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | |
Background strain | C57BL/6 |
Appearance | black [a/a] |
Strain development | The original p53 deficient mice had been introduced into C57BL/6 background for 13 generations by Dr. Niwa T at Hiroshima Univ (-1995). Then the mice were transfered to Dr. Kusakabe M. at RIKEN Life Science Center for further backcrossing to establish the B6 congenic strain. The gpt delta mice were crossed with C57BL/6-p53tm1 to establish a double mutant at RIKEN, and have been maintained by sister-brother mating for 8 generations. |
